The 2023 Jeep Cherokee is a compact crossover SUV with two rows. The Cherokee is among the oldest cars in its class, having undergone its most recent revision in 2014. But, Jeep hasn't allowed the Cherokee wither away; only a few years ago, it received a modest update along with additional amenities and trims. Redesigned trim levels and increased standard equipment on certain models helped the Cherokee last year. Jeep substantially reduces the Cherokee lineup for 2023. The optional V6 engine has been phased out, and there are only two trim levels: the virtually fully loaded Altitude and Trailhawk. It's an odd range, to say the least, because both trims are more expensive than even the highest trims on other small SUV models.
